…your favorite teacher takes the time to write you an e-mail critiquing your paper and telling you its obvious you didn’t work up to your potential and she’s pretty disappointed. Um, no duh? What am I supposed to say to that? I didn’t give her my accommodation sheet since there wasn’t blind grading and it was an essay-only class so extra time wouldn’t have been possible. Glad to know I let yet another person down. Bummer.
On the plus side, I did get complimented at work this week, the one place where I am managing to give every spare bit of energy I’ve got because I care, I love it and I know I need it. Somehow there is just nothing left for home, school or anything else. Sigh…

Sorry to hear about your car, your continued unresolved pain, and now your favorite teacher taking time out of her busy schedule to beat you down. There is bound to be something fabulous just around the corner for you now! Grab your man, a good movie, and some deliciously-sinful favorite food and have a wonderful night to get your mind off of it all

Um, is this the paper that you were writing for a long time, but didn’t actually start writing until like a day or two before?
I’m all for focusing on work – biggest potential payoff.

Doesn’t it kind of mean you don’t suck if your favorite teacher recognizes that you have great potential, and takes the time to let you know she thinks so?

at least if you succeed at work that’s what really counts right- since it’s the actual real world!
