Pumpkinhead didn’t want to sleep tonight. I got home from work around 8:30 and was going to take a shower to see if it would help with the pain. As I was getting changed, I heard him whimpering from the bed (his room is right next to the bathroom). I went in to check on him and he was crying, saying he was scared and wanted to cuddle with me. Awww. So I laid with him for about 30 minutes, kissing his cheeks, wiping his tears and singing him songs trying to get him to sleep. Finally I needed to get up (ow!), but as I started to pull away from him, he wrapped his arms around my neck and said, “Don’t run away, little runner!!” Bwahahaha. Of course I got back into bed for another 15 minutes. How could a mother resist that? Sooo cute.
