I am finally starting to feel better, thank goodness. If you couldn’t tell from the onslaught of blog posts tonight, I’m actually getting some energy back! And that’s surprising because I have started my new meds (Zonisamide) and the bottle says it will make me sleepy. Maybe when I go up to the full dosage. The neurologist said to just take one pill for a few days and then go up to two. I have my one HUGE final next Wednesday so I think I will wait until after that is over to go up (or maybe until after the 19th, when my final paper is due). My arms are still hurting a lot and my hip keeps tingling (that is the weirdest feeling!!!) but I’m making it through. So for now I will just be thankful for some energy and that I’m not curled up on the couch in a ball of pain like I was this time last year heading into finals. I did take a nap at lunch today but I think that was more because I’ve been so sick with my head/nose/throat than because of the neuropathy. So far it really hasn’t come back full blast the way past “relapses” had. Knock on wood!
