Butterflyfish sent me a link to this comic today. She pretty much nailed it when she said it reminded her of me. I’m not really OCD like this but if you take a problem (or all of them), this is kind of how my mind spins out of control and into a super-anxious state. I am constantly thinking a mile a minute. Hell, you should hear me talk (fast!!!) Anyway, this made me laugh. I see it. Just can’t stop it.

Better Day

Spent some quality time relaxing with Blue Eyes last night and woke up much more relaxed today. Laid off the Buspar today. Managed to hold it together. Went to therapy and took care of several To Do items, including a waaayyyy past due invoice for some freelancing work. Taking everything an hour at a time.
Oh, and I got to school today and found out that my deadlines are much farther out than I had planned. Yay!! I do have a presentation due on Tuesday and TONS of reading for that but my 10-page paper on ethics in legal negotiations was moved out to Dec. 2, I have an exam Dec. 10 and then my anti-corruption paper is due Dec. 19. All good news in terms of juggling!
Tomorrow is my annual trip to the Ob/Gyn. 
Then I have to take Pumpkinhead to the psychiatrist at 2 p.m. because the new meds are making him lose it. My check engine light came on today so, in addition to those errands, I need to take my car for an oil change and have them check all the fluids. Praying it is NOT an expensive fix. Please, please, please!! I have a 3:30 p.m. conference call to take from home so I’m hoping I can fit in the oil change somewhere mid-day.
It’s 9:30 and I brought home a TON of spreadsheet work to do before I can go to bed. Yawn! Off to get some hot tea and then get started.

Several months. That was when I was 19 and on a break after my first lover cheated on me. Since age 20, I cannot remember a time (except post-childbirth, of course) when I have gone more than two weeks without.
4. Have you ever had sex in a car? If yes, since you were a teenager?
LOL. Of course! Tried to convince someone to do that in the last few months but he didn’t go for it. Sigh…old men. 
5. When did you last use food or drink as medication?
I am an emotional eater. I always use food as medication. Not a binger, but I find chocolate, cheese and wine to all be comfort foods. Thank God my reduced-size stomach pouch won’t let me go nuts.
