Product Reviews
[Adult Content] A few people e-mailed me asking for a follow-up on something I made a comment on the other week. Since a few e-mailed, I would imagine a few more are wondering. Maybe not. But I’m of the opinion that when you find a good thing (or spend $130+ on a less-good thing), you should tell your friends about it.
So here it is: We-Vibe review – Meh. Still trying to get the hang of it. Better alone right now, but I think I could try it with a partner again once I am more comfortable with the simultaneous sensations.
Now Doc Johnson’s Kisser on the other hand is my absolute favorite new possession for partnered sex. [/Adult Content]
Random side note: healing tattoos freaking itch!!!!
Weekly MILP Roundup #68
This week’s awesome roundup is up at One New Duck.
The Weekly MILP (Moms in the Legal Profession) Roundup is the brainchild of Saramel (retired). It is hosted on a rotating basis at the PT-LawMom, A New Duck and A Little Fish in Law School blogs and is usually posted no later than Monday morning. Next week’s MILP Roundup will be back here.
Chapin’s Back
At 8:30 tonight, I walked in the house and into my son’s room to see him with the hugest grin he’s had in months. It was fantastic. He spent the afternoon reconnecting with his Dad. According to Pumpkinhead, they played his Nintendo, went out for Chinese and took a nap together. Pumpkinhead would not stop grinning.
Hooray. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
I have not yet seen Chapin but we have had several brief and neutral conversations. He did make one inappropriate comment but I shut him down fast. He did NOT ask where I was, nor did Pumpkinhead mention anything to me. Apparently he left his debit card in our fireproof safe so I’m going to have to drop it by his hotel on my way to work in the morning. I told him he has to come down to the lobby and get it (hell, I may even leave it with the front desk clerk). But if he doesn’t do that, he’ll have to come to my work and pick it up later in the day.
While Pumpkinhead and Chapin were having their reunion, I was spending the afternoon with Blue Eyes, driving back and forth two hours north to drop his daughter off with her mother after a weekend here. We capped it off with my introducing Blue Eyes to one of my favorite hole-in-the-wall barbecue joints and a nice round of super-hot sex at his place, after which we both fell sound asleep and I almost missed Pumpkinhead’s bedtime.
Oops.
Overall I feel pretty good. I am glad that Chapin is acting very calm and neutral and not asking me questions or bugging me. I told him that it would be helpful if he would exercise his custody rights and take Pumpkinhead on Wednesday nights to help my parents out while I’m in school. He said he would do his best. That is all I can ask for. He said, “How can I possibly thank you for all you have done. There is no way.” My response? “Be there for your son consistently. Don’t leave again without telling him. Call and visit when you are supposed to. That is the ONLY thing I need from you.” He said he would and, with that, we ended our call. Here’s hoping the rest of our years of co-parenting go that smoothly.
The Return Part 2
Chapin is on a plane. He arrives at 1:30 today. Right now I’m printing copies of the divorce decree, custody calendar, school contact info, etc. for him.
My Dad needed to use his truck so we weren’t able to drop it at the airport. So Dad will be picking Chapin up.
That should be fun for them both. Actually, my Dad is kind of weird. He probably won’t say anything negative to Chapin. Anyway, Pumpkinhead and I are going to our DivorceCare groups and then I’m going to drop him at my parents’ church with the truck and drive home with my mother. My Dad will pick up Chapin and drive he and Pumpkinhead to Chapin’s hotel. Either my mother or I will need to pick up my Dad from the hotel and then Chapin and Pumpkinhead will spend the afternoon together. Chapin will drop Pumpkinhead at the house at 7:30 for bedtime.
I’m going to go with Blue Eyes’ tonight to drop his daughter back with her mother (at a midpoint about 2 hours away) and will be back late tonight.
