I’m sitting in the parking lot of Blue Eyes’ hospital stealing the free Guest WiFi because, although we are one of the fortunate households who just got power, we do not yet have cable or Internet. Since I had to work and send some files in for a contract project, I wanted to jump on quickly and post a few post-storm pictures. You all have seen the news. I have an uncle and aunt who lost everything in Galveston and two great-aunts who lost their family homes. The local traffic lights are snapped off or completely gone. Four-way stop fun! Many, many people lost trees, fences or roofs. In comparison, a little water damage and a downed fence and tree limbs is nothing. I’ll have more to say but right now I am starving and there is soup waiting at home. In the meantime, camera phone pics:
