Vote for the Party with Your Best Interests at Heart

I have spent many years living in very liberal areas. Now I live in a Red state and I sometimes forget how conservative (and bible-beating) many people around may be. Then I go to class and listen to seriously sexist or redneck statements fly out of some of my classmates’ mouths and I have to sit on my hands/bite my lips (that works about 20% of the time). Fortunately I live in a large enough city that there are some liberals to be found, but still… I love everything about where I live except the politics.
