PT - your positive attitude about all of this is simply amazing! I'm going to try to take a page out of your book. And I'm sure my therapist will be happy (who is also encouraging me to stay in the now). I'm sending good thoughts your way!

My wife found that qi qong (it's like tai chi) helped her with the cramps and pains... There's usually a lot of free classes, at least in los angeles there is.

Around how much does it usually run and how do you find a reputable practitioner? I've heard from others that it can be very helpful but I've never tried it and always thought it would be really expensive. At this point, though, I'm ready to try anything! Especially now that I have a job with more flexible hours that is in an area of town where those types of practitioners are more likely to be found. Many of my coworkers slip away for lunchtime yoga or other appointments and no one bats an eyelash so I think I could do the same.

I'm glad to hear about your job, and I hope your health improves. You've probably been asked this before, but have you ever tried acupuncture? I did it a while ago and it wasn't too expensive - maybe it's worth a try?
