I hate kiddie games, but now my girls are big enough for Sorry, Uno, Boggle, Chinese Checkers which are much more tolerable. Also, Cranium makes a card game called Zigity that is great for helping with math and spelling skills. The recommended age is 7, but a bright 5 year old could play with help. (Sorry, I don't remember how old Pumpkinhead is.) Unfortunately my kids got the High School Musical and Hannah Montana games--barf. Oh, and all my girls LOVE anything Magic School Bus. They seem to have two series of books out for basic and more advanced readers. Also they were showing the Magic School Bus on one of the cable channels (maybe discovery or learning?) about 8:00 in the morning over the summer. Happy Birthday & Happy Vacation--I know you need it!
