Seriously disturbed
About a week or so ago, I posted some cute baby pictures of Pumpkinhead. Since then my hit count has soared with people looking for “cute baby pictures” or variations of that. The majority of those searches come from foreign countries, particularly in the Middle East and Asia. I’m a little disturbed by this phenomenon. It could honestly be that people are just looking for cute baby pics because who doesn’t smile when they see a little chubby baby. That said, I’m taking that particular post down because I really don’t like the idea of any random Tom, Dick or Harry looking at my child (especially if it’s for dirty reasons - bleech!).

Eewww, that would creep me out too. I don’t blame you for removing the pics (which I saw, and he was just a little ball of adorableness!) I have occasionally edited my blog content because of unwanted search hits.

Good move. There’s definitely something creepy in those stats. Don’t want to even speculate on what it might be! It’s probably a good idea not to post photos of young children on the Internet. Once upon a time, when I was Internet dating (which is how I met MFN), I always was a bit creeped out by fathers who posted pictures of their young kids in their dating profiles.

Ew, that is SO creepy. The minute I see my stats moving that direction is the minute I go anonymous!
