I'm afraid Proto Attorney may be right. From things that were said here and there yesterday. I was starting to get the impression that more was going on here than meets the eye.

For what it's worth, from the moment they walked into the hospital over a week ago, they've seldom been told the same thing twice. You can tell from her blog that it keeps changing, and for the worse, but it's just creepy how many lies and half-truths they've been told.

Yesterday they said they never allow a safety plan like the one they had in place, with LL's mom staying with them. Obviously, that's not what they'd been saying before...

Even smart, well-educated, well-supported people start to feel confused and overwhelmed and very, very pressured.

I can't figure out why they are suddenly so eager to put him in foster care. What changed in their simple little minds that made them abandon the safety plan and instead dump him in some shelter? Just when it sounded like they were taking reasonable measures to actually look out for Landon's best interests, they just go all crazy. That poor little guy has to be terrified, being with strangers and wanting his mom and dad. It breaks my heart.

I can't help but wonder if certain parties involved aren't being extra nasty about this because 1. LL's a law student, and at a top 10 school as well, 2. she's extremely intelligent and has kept on them without just accepting their b.s. and letting herself be bullied like most people probably do, and 3. that she's had an arsenal of support from attorneys and doctors who are rather big deals. People in positions of authority don't often like to be put in their place by people more important than them, and they like to be treated like masters of your fate, not equals to be negotiated with.
