The New York Times is reporting that ICE has, for the second time at the same residence, mistakenly raided the home of a U.S. citizen in a search for undocumented immigrants.

Apparently ICE also picked up almost 1,400 undocumented immigrants in California recently, mostly criminals, overstays and those ignoring deportation orders. I’m all for deporting true criminals (violent felons, rapists, drug dealers, gang members, etc.), but these ICE raids are really getting out of control, especially with the constant reports of deplorable conditions in the public and private jails housing these immigrants while they await deportation and trial.
