AILA Update
Today I received a one-line email from the membership department telling me to go ahead and submit the application. Nothing about a policy change, so who knows what it means for other part-time students, but yay for me!
You know I filled that thing out quick before they change their minds. ![]()

YAH!
Congratulations, you are breaking ground for other part timers. Even policy change is not made, a precedence has been set.

Congratulations! When you become an actual member, you should propose the organization to change the policy because the current policy discourages part-time law students from applying. For a professional organization it doesn’t seem like a sound policy. I’d be interested in knowning why they opted to adopt the current policy.

I know, Shell - I was kind of hoping they would explain or say they’d changed the rule, but I’ll take what I can get for now.
