Glad to see this! I’m starting first year, part time in a month. I’m married (DH is starting his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the same time), we have a 6-year-old, and a baby who was born in May. I’m a little nervous about the prospect of concurrent mothering and law school, but we did our undergrads at the same time with one child. So, I guess it’s mostly the baby thing…. Anyway, it’s encouraging to see that it can be done! I’ll be following you, as well as the others ’rounded up’ here through our collective journeys – best of luck to us all!

Hi,
I’m a recent law school graduate and aspiring solo practitioner, specifically in the field of special education law and disability rights. I’m a mother of two, and my younger son is autistic. Being his advocate and navigating though the school system led me to law school.
Just sat for the July 2007 CA Bar Exam and am awaiting results. Noticed your blog on Evan Schaeffer’s Legal Underground.
