Procedure follow-up
It went well, I guess, if you measure success by getting done what needed to be done. (Thanks to those who asked after me.) But now I hurt and am swollen at the site they worked on. Got home yesterday and had to take percocet. Took three, but they didn’t help much so I tried ice. Finally fell asleep (the pills make me itch) and woke up this morning still swollen but not in as much pain. Hopefully that will continue (haven’t tried to eat yet).
Pumpkinhead wants to go get a slip ‘n’ slide this morning (yay for things that will distract him while I study!) and I need to get some grocery shopping done. I’m hoping to do all of that quickly and be home to start studying later this morning.
