U.S.-born children of undocumented immigrants
The Washington Post has a heartbreaking article today on the impact of the recent immigration raids on the U.S.-born children of undocumented immigrants. This is just such a tough subject. On the one hand, the parents did break the law; on the other hand, many of they have been here working peacefully long enough to have kids in middle school and own a house. Can you imagine having your parents ripped away from you in an instant or living in constant fear of that? This article mentions a boy who is constantly drawing the curtains shut and closing doors for fear of “La Migra” capturing his parents. So sad…
