Best item you could ever get a new mom
When my son was born, I suddenly realized how disgusting my floors were as I watched him crawl around on them. I pulled out my Hoover vacuum and steam cleaner and spent way too much time working on my floors. Then I found my Dyson. Yes, it was $400, but I can honestly say it was absolutely my number one best purchase as a new mom. I tell everyone I meet about it and can’t believe I haven’t mentioned it here before! I cannot think of any other purchase that made me happier and, believe me, I am NOT a neat freak. The Dyson really does never lose suction, the parts come out so easily for cleaning and the hose stretches so you can clean the whole staircase without pulling the whole machine up the stairs with you. One time when it was about 18 months old, the hose got a little tear. I called Dyson and they sent a new hose for free. Best part? Snapped on in two seconds! No complicated installation; just click and snap. 
Sigh… Love it! So I got really excited this morning when I saw that 5 Minutes for Mom is giving away a Dyson Slim to a lucky reader of their blog. Get in on it while you can!
P.S. This is not a paid Dyson advertisement. I just really, really love my vacuum.

I have been lusting after one of those, but seeing as how I have hard wood floors & only a few area rugs, I couldn’t justify the expense. Now a free one on the other hand - my cat hair coated couches would be a thing of the past!
