Sorry for the ultra-delayed response! I just went to the used bookstore and picked up last year's Kaplan books for self-study. That worked for me. If you're aiming for a Top 10 school, you might try a course. Otherwise, I think they are a waste of money.

ok So I am reading your blogs and feel ultra inspired! I am a mom of 3 I work full time and have wavered on the idea of going to law school and I am ready. I also just bought a MAC Book Pro :- ) I signed up for the LSAT in June (waitlist). In your experience, would you recommend the kaplan (or similar) courses to prepare for the test or just get the books and study? I managed to get my grad degree (UMUC) on line, but I know that is different from preparing for law school.
Thank you!

Wow! It's going to be an adjustment I'm sure. I so admire you for doing this. If I'd had children before I started law school I don't know that I would have had the stamina to do it. I'm really rooting for you!
